2 packs of flour tortillas (guessing 6 tortillas in each pack)
2 lbs ground beef
shredded chedder
chili powder
cumin seeds
1 red onion
1 can black beans
medium heat taco sauce
bag frozen corn (or can)
2 scallions
Total price range for all that?
i think any where from 20-40 dollars
Probably $20.00-$25.00
We have no idea how to help you, you didn’t say where you were located, where you are planning on shopping etc….
Prices can range So much.
And tortillas usually come 10 to a pack not 6.
Tortillas – 2
hamburger – 6
cheddar – 2
cumin – 3
onion – 1
beans – 1
taco sauce – 3
corn -1
scallions – 1
TOTAL ABOUT: $20.00 give or take some change. That’s here in Texas.
Tortillas usually come in packs of 8-10, depending on size of tortillas. You did not say where you live as that can make a huge difference in the cost of food. If you are shopping at a conventional store expect to pay roughly $30.00 for all ingredients, and I am rounding that out.
I live in Ohio and this is what I would be paying (if not on sale!):
8 10″ Mission Flour Tortillas, $2.79 per pack (high quality)
2 pounds ground chuck at $2.89 pound
16 ounces Cheddar Cheese, grated $6.00
1 2.5 ounce container chili powder $1.89 (At dollar store it is $1.00)
1 2 ounce cumin seed $3.00 (I prefer ground cumin~I get mine cheaper as I have a bulk food store I frequent)
1 large red onion .80c
1 16 ounce black beans, $1.09
Medium heat taco sauce, store brand $2.39
1 store brand bag frozen corn $1.59
2 scallions .68c
Remember, this is what I would pay in OHIO. If you live in CA or NY it could be much more expensive. And, this is what I would pay without it being on sale. If you are able to buy most items like the meat, cheese, and tortillas on sale, you could save an additional $5-$6.
The bulk food store I frequent is run by the Mennonites and I get my spices and herbs super cheap! Buy store brand, if possible, and not name brands to get the best price.
$20.00 not including tax
